Yoga Foundations: A 4 Week Beginner Yoga Series

  • Light House Yoga 1060 Osgood Street North Andover, MA, 01845 United States (map)

New to yoga? Returning after some time away? Or simply looking to revisit the foundations of your practice?

Our four-week Beginner Yoga Series offers a welcoming, supportive space to explore yoga at a comfortable pace. Through gentle movement, thoughtful instruction, and opportunities to ask questions, you'll become familiar with the essential elements of yoga while building confidence in your own practice.

Each week, we'll explore foundational yoga postures, breathing techniques, basic alignment principles, and introductory concepts of yoga philosophy. You'll learn common yoga terminology, become familiar with the flow of a class, and discover ways to adapt the practice to your individual needs.

This series is not about mastering poses or keeping up with a fast-paced class. It's about slowing down, learning the fundamentals, and developing a greater understanding of your body, breath, and the practice of yoga.

Your Practice, Your Pace

Your registration also includes four weeks of unlimited yoga classes at Light House Yoga, beginning January 12 and continuing through February 8.

This gives you the opportunity to explore our regular class offerings, revisit what you're learning, and experience different approaches to yoga throughout the series. Additional classes are entirely optional. You're welcome to participate as much or as little as feels right for you.

Yoga is a lifelong study, and there is no perfect place to begin. You don't need to be flexible, strong, or experienced. You simply need to be willing to explore.

The time for yoga is now.
